Through more than a dozen embedded courses, students learn the fundamentals of electricity and mechatronics by building and analyzing their own circuits. VECS can accurately simulate real-world components such as light bulbs, batteries, resistors, capacitors, switches, motors, and more. Simulations even include multimeters, allowing students to measure how circuits behave in the real world. This open experience allows students to build any circuit they want, replacing the need for expensive disposable components in a traditional lab or classroom. Circuits can be safely tested (and even blown up!) in VECS, allowing students to conduct virtual experiments before applying their skills to the real world.
