Paint To Pixel is a virtual reality exhibition charting the history of graffiti in the UK. It features interviews with leading British artists and a personal photo archive covering six years of graffiti writing. Departing from Graf Central Station, the train is covered in original car-load art and travels to 5 different galleries with topics ranging from the roots of New York graffiti in the 1970s to the explosion of street art in pop culture and city festivals. Paint to Pixel allows marginalized artists to share their own stories. It’s art that seamlessly crosses between large-scale public art and the illicit roots of culture.
