You’ll experience climbs, slips, falls, and rage as you help Siberian penguin Pavel Pinguinovich scale dangerous frozen ice cliffs and (hopefully) reunite with his family.

Known for his “extraordinary intelligence,” Pavel is selected to participate in a top-secret government experiment that unexpectedly makes him both intelligent and emotional. He’s been thrown into the Gulag – now he must crawl his way back to freedom using the hammer and sickle he finds.

Each climb brings new obstacles: shattering ice, derisive comments, and a prison guard (voiced by YouTuber Chubbier Snail) who is equal parts sarcastic mentor and troublemaker. The Gulag may be no joke, but climbing is no paradise either.

This physics-based climb is both frustrating and philosophical. You’ll grapple with questions about the meaning of love, wisdom, and resilience while trying not to throw your headphones across the room.
