About this game

It takes place between “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” and “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” and is set around the Black Peak Outpost on the planet Battu, produced by EA.

The player will play a robot repair technician in the game. The game plot begins in a bar called “Azumel” on the outskirts of the Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu. The player is listening to the bartender Seezelslak telling his legendary life in the bar, but will soon find that danger is coming, and a new crisis is about to strike…

The story itself, there are two new stories to choose from, the Jedi Padawan from the first part is now a Knight, there is a Padawan who calls her his Padawan, and while it doesn’t have the flashy cameos and lightsaber battles of the first part, it’s a fun, reflective story that paints the relationship between Masters and their Padawan from a new perspective, letting you engage in the lessons and use the power, and yes, your lightsaber, in a different way.

Mission IG-88, meanwhile, is a fun power trip, although the automated gameplay (you no longer wave your arms, but move the two targeting reticles) makes it less interactive and engaging than other experiences. It’s a lot to sit through and watch – especially gauging people’s reactions to a giant murder robot – but the strength of these games lies in the detail of what you’re doing.
